Chris Villepigue, sound designer from New York City told us that he used our CINEMATIC TRAILERS SFX for an absolutely awesome TV Ad campagin. The commercial was for a liquor company called "Kraken Rum". That's what he said: "I've been able to use the amazing sounds you guys created in a Television Ad campaign that has been broadcast nationally here in the U.S. Thanks for the great products." - Thanks for sharing Chris. This is a nice little Making Of video of our recordings in South Africa for our "Cars" library. We completely wired 10 everyday cars, rented a super-quiet test track for our recordings and are now proud to deliver really great and pristine long takes of drive-bys, car engine sounds, exhaust sounds and stereo interior recordings. We also give you a great selection of close handling sounds like switches, indicators, ventilation, handbrakes, basically everything we could find.
Microsoft just released it's new game for the XBOX360: "Kinect Rush - A Disney • Pixar Adventure". The game takes place in the lovely universes of the Disney-Pixar animation movies "Ratatouille", "Toy Story", "The Incredibles", "UP" and "Cars". The BOOM Library team was responsible for the sound design of this great gesture based adventure.
